Federman & Sherwood investigates Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (“JEI”) for data breach. On November 7, 2024, JEI filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. JEI experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network on September 23, 2024. JEI immediately launched an investigation into the incident. On October 7, 2024, the investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to the Jacob Entertainment’s network and accessed certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information. On November 6, 2024, JEI began sending data breach notice letters to all individuals impacted by the data breach.

• Other sensitive information

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is a company that operates gaming properties in Colorado, Louisiana, Nevada, and Virginia. Its portfolio includes five casinos: The Lodge Casino and The Gilpin Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado, and the Gold Dust West casinos in Reno, Carson City, and Elko, Nevada.
