Federman & Sherwood Investigates Furniture Mart USA for Data Breach
Oklahoma City, OK (January 27, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood investigates Furniture Mart USA (“Furniture Mart”) for data breach. On January 24, 2025, Furniture Mart filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. Furniture Mart experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network on November 3, 2024. Furniture Mart immediately launched an investigation into the incident which concluded on December 26, 2024. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to Furniture Mart’s IT network and accessed certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information. On January 24, 2025, Furniture Mart began to send out data breach notification letters to all consumers impacted by the recent data breach.

• Social Security Number
• Driver’s License Number
• Other sensitive information
