Oklahoma City, OK (November 27, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Furman Foods, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. On October 10, 2024, Furman Foods, Inc. began experiencing problems affecting the function and availability of its networking and computer systems. Furman Foods immediately worked to contain the problem and investigate its scope and cause. With the help of an expert remediation team, Furman Foods ultimately determined the cause of the issue was a ransomware attack perpetrated by a third party. Furman Foods promptly notified law enforcement and continued their investigation to determine whether any personal information was potentially accessed by a third party. The investigation determined that the following personal information was accessed: individuals name, address and Social Security number.
