Ferring Pharmaceuticals for Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, OK (December 6, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Ferring Pharmaceuticals with respect to their recent data breach. On October 16, 2024, Ferring Pharmaceuticals discovered suspicious activity associated with an employee’s email account. Upon discovery, Ferring Pharmaceuticals immediately took steps to address the issue and secure its email environment, including implementing a forced password reset and launching a comprehensive internal investigation. The investigation determined that certain personal information may have been acquired without authorization. The following personal information was accessed: individuals name, Social Security number, and work profile details like job history, current project and education profile.
