Federman & Sherwood Investigates English Construction Company for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (November 8, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into English Construction Company with respect to their recent data breach. In late September, English Construction Company was alerted to suspicious activity affecting its network. English Construction Company launched an immediate investigation to determine the nature and scope of the activity, including engaging leading outside cybersecurity experts to investigation and remediate the incident. Based on the investigation it was determined that English Construction Company had become the victim of a ransomware attacked led by cybercriminals who accessed the following personal information: individuals name, date of birth, address, driver’s license number and Social Security number.
