Federman & Sherwood Investigates Edw. C. Levy Co. for Data Breach
Oklahoma City, OK (January 21, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood investigates Edw. C. Levy Co., also known as The Levy Group of Companies (“Levy”) for data breach. On January 16, 2025, Levy filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. Levy experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network on November 1, 2023. Levy immediately launched an investigation into the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to the Levy network and accessed certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information. Recently, The Levy Group of Companies began to send out data breach notification letters to all individuals impacted by the data breach.
The data breach letter posted on the Maine Attorney General’s website does not mention the specific information that was leaked.
