Federman & Sherwood Investigates Covaris for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (January 3, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Covaris with respect to their recent data breach. In a recent cybersecurity incident, Covaris, LLC, a company specializing in sample preparation technologies for life sciences, discovered unusual activity in its computer systems in February 2024. The breach first began on February 26, an investigation revealed. Subsequent investigations revealed that the unauthorized actor potentially accessed specific sensitive information during the Covaris data breach, including names paired with Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, dates of birth, financial account details, health information, and usernames with passwords.
