Oklahoma City, OK (November 18, 2024) – Federman & Sherwood investigates American Neighborhood Mortgage Acceptance Company, LLC d/b/a AnnieMac Home Mortgage for data breach. On November 14, 2024, AnnieMac Home Mortgage filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. AnnieMac Home Mortgage experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network on August 23, 2024. AnnieMac Home Mortgage immediately launched an investigation into the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to the AnnieMac Home Mortgage network and accessed certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information. On November 14, 2024 AnnieMac Home Mortgage sent data breach notifications to all consumers impacted by the data breach.
The type of information potentially exposed includes:

• Social Security Number
• Other sensitive information
AnnieMac Home Mortgage is a nationwide mortgage loan provider headquartered in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. AnnieMac provides a variety of mortgage loan options to homebuyers, including conventional loans, VA loans, USDA loans, FHA loans, jumbo loans, and renovation loans.
