Farmer Brothers Company Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (September 10, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces an investigation into a data breach reported by Farmer Brothers Company, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. According to a notice filed with the Office of the Maine Attorney General, the incident may affect the security of personal information belonging to nine (9) Maine residents.

On or about March 14, 2025, Farmer Brothers identified indications of potential unauthorized access to its systems. An internal investigation later confirmed that an unknown actor gained access to certain archived files and folders between March 6, 2025, and March 14, 2025. The compromised files may have contained sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, and driver’s license numbers.

Farmer Brothers notified affected individuals on September 9, 2025, and is offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through TransUnion at no cost to those impacted.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating this matter to determine the full impact of the breach and the legal rights of affected individuals.
