Dubroff, Easley & Lovell, LLP Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 1, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a national law firm focused on data breach and privacy litigation, is investigating a cybersecurity incident involving Dubroff, Easley & Lovell, LLP, following the law firm’s recent filing with the Attorney General of California.

According to the notification, Dubroff, Easley & Lovell learned on or about September 22, 2025, that an unauthorized actor had gained access to the firm’s systems. Forensic specialists were engaged to investigate the intrusion, determine the scope of the incident, and assess whether any personal data had been affected. Through this investigation, the firm determined that files from its network were acquired without authorization between September 2, 2025, and September 22, 2025. Following a comprehensive review completed on November 12, 2025, the firm confirmed that individuals’ personal information was contained within the impacted files.

The exposed information includes names along with additional personal identifiers, depending on the individual. While the firm states that it has not identified any reports of identity theft tied to this incident, it is notifying affected individuals out of an abundance of caution.

Dubroff, Easley & Lovell reports that it has secured its systems, enhanced internal monitoring, and continues to implement measures designed to mitigate the risk of similar incidents. The firm has established a dedicated toll-free assistance line to respond to questions from affected individuals.

To help protect those impacted, the firm is offering complimentary Kroll identity monitoring services for a duration specified in each consumer notification. These services include credit monitoring, fraud consultation, and identity theft restoration support. Activation instructions and membership details were included in each notice letter.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Dubroff, Easley & Lovell, LLP maintained appropriate security controls to safeguard sensitive personal information and whether affected California residents may have legal rights or remedies available under state and federal data protection laws.
