Discord Inc Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 8, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data security incident involving Discord Inc., following the company’s data breach report filed with the Texas Attorney General.
According to the filing, 1,465 Texas residents were impacted by a breach involving personal information, including names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, government-issued identification numbers, and dates of birth.
Discord issued notice to affected individuals via U.S. Mail and Email, and the breach was posted publicly by the Texas Attorney General on December 5, 2025.
Federman & Sherwood is reviewing whether Discord followed legally required security standards, whether the breach could have been prevented, and what rights affected individuals may have under state and federal law.
The compromised information may have included:
