Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (April 10, 2025) – CPI recently became aware of suspicious activity within its computer network. Upon discovering the activity, CPI took action to secure its systems and launched an investigation into the nature and scope of the issue, with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity and data privacy specialists. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor accessed CPI’s network at various times between September 12, 2024, and September 23, 2024, and viewed or copied certain information from its systems during that period. Once these findings were identified, CPI conducted a thorough and detailed review of the affected data to determine what information may have been compromised and to whom it was related.

In addition, CPI informed the federal law enforcement about the event and took measures to safeguard the privacy of the at-risk data. CPI is reviewing its current security policies and allocating significant resources to implement enhanced cybersecurity measures to prevent similar events in the future. CPI is also notifying impacted individuals, so they can take appropriate steps to protect their information if they choose to do so.
