Central Kentucky Radiology (“CKR”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (June 17, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving Central Kentucky Radiology (“CKR”), located in Lexington, Kentucky. This incident was recently disclosed in notification letters sent to affected individuals and relevant regulators.

According to information provided by CKR, the organization became aware of a network disruption on October 18, 2024, and immediately initiated an investigation. The forensic analysis revealed that an unauthorized actor had gained access to and copied files from certain systems between October 16 and October 18, 2024. The review of impacted data was completed on May 7, 2025.

The compromised data may include full name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, date of medical service, and service charge—sensitive information that could put affected individuals at risk of identity theft and financial fraud.

CKR has offered affected individuals 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services through TransUnion and has provided resources to help protect against potential misuse of personal information. The breach has also been reported to federal law enforcement, and CKR has committed to enhancing cybersecurity protocols moving forward.
