Central Kentucky Radiology (“CKR”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

This incident was recently disclosed in notification letters sent to affected individuals and relevant regulators.
According to information provided by CKR, the organization became aware of a network disruption on October 18, 2024, and immediately initiated an investigation. The forensic analysis revealed that an unauthorized actor had gained access to and copied files from certain systems between October 16 and October 18, 2024. The breach has also been reported to federal law enforcement, and CKR has committed to enhancing cybersecurity protocols moving forward.
