Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (June 12, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving Brodsky Renehan Pearlstein & Bouquet Chartered (“BRPB”), a Maryland-based law firm, following its disclosure of a cybersecurity incident that may have compromised sensitive personal information.

According to a notice filed with state regulators, BRPB discovered suspicious activity on its systems on November 29, 2024. A subsequent investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor accessed and copied certain files from BRPB’s network. The information potentially impacted includes names, Social Security numbers, payment card information, and financial account details.

BRPB has indicated that it completed a detailed review to identify affected individuals and has begun issuing written notices. The firm is offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services through IDX to impacted individuals and has reported the incident to federal law enforcement.
