Bomco, Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

May 20, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood, a national consumer protection law firm, is investigating the Bomco Inc. data breach, a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to sensitive personal information that was reported to the Attorney General of Maine.

According to the notice, Bomco, Inc. became aware on or about June 17, 2025, that certain files within its network may have been accessed by an unauthorized actor. An investigation determined that unauthorized access occurred between June 14, 2025, and June 16, 2025, during which files may have been copied from the company’s network.

Following a detailed review completed on or about April 20, 2026, Bomco determined that sensitive personal information may have been involved in the incident.

The information potentially exposed includes individuals’ names, Social Security numbers, and financial account information.

Cybersecurity incidents involving financial and personal information can place affected individuals at risk of identity theft, financial fraud, and other misuse of sensitive data.

Federman & Sherwood is actively investigating whether Bomco, Inc. implemented reasonable cybersecurity safeguards and whether this data security incident could have been prevented. The firm is also evaluating potential legal claims on behalf of individuals affected by the Bomco data breach.

Bomco reported that it implemented additional security safeguards and is offering affected individuals one year of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through IDX.
