Artisans’ Bank Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 29, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving Artisans’ Bank, following a notification filed with the Maine Attorney General.

According to the filing, Artisans’ Bank learned on or about October 28, 2025, that a third-party vendor, Marquis Software Solutions, experienced unauthorized access to its systems as early as August 14, 2025. Artisans’ Bank later determined that certain customer information may have been impacted as a result of the vendor incident.

The information potentially involved includes individuals’ names and Social Security numbers. Artisans’ Bank reported that seven (7) Maine residents were affected. Written notice was provided, and impacted individuals were offered complimentary credit monitoring services.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating the incident, including the role of third-party vendors, the safeguards in place to protect customer data, and the legal options available to affected individuals.

The compromised information may have included:

  • Full name
  • Social Security number
  • Financial information
  • Other sensitive information
