Allied Services Division Welfare Fund (“the Fund”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (October 6, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces an investigation into a recent data breach involving the Allied Services Division Welfare Fund (“the Fund”). According to a notice filed with the Attorney General of California, the Fund experienced a cybersecurity incident that may have exposed the personal information of certain individuals.

According to the Fund’s report, on or about November 25, 2024, it learned that an unauthorized individual may have gained access to an employee email account. The Fund immediately initiated a comprehensive investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity professionals experienced in data breach response. Following a detailed forensic analysis and review of affected records, the Fund determined on September 12, 2025, that personal information contained within the compromised account may have been accessed between October 9, 2024, and November 26, 2024.

The Fund stated that the potentially impacted information may include individuals’ personal identifiers and other sensitive information. Although there is no evidence that the exposed data has been misused, the Fund advised affected individuals to remain vigilant and provided detailed guidance on how to monitor their credit reports, place fraud alerts or credit freezes, and protect against potential identity theft.

The Fund also reported that it has implemented enhanced technical safeguards and continues to review and strengthen its internal cybersecurity policies to prevent similar incidents in the future.
