Action Property Management, Inc.  Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (October 20, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a recent data breach involving Action Property Management, Inc. (“Action Property Management”), headquartered in Irvine, California. According to the company’s filing with the Attorney General of Maine, the incident may have exposed sensitive personal information belonging to individuals connected with the company.

Action Property Management reported that on or about April 6, 2025, it experienced unauthorized access to its computer network. After initiating an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts, the company determined on or about September 10, 2025, that between March 8, 2025, and April 6, 2025, certain files containing personal information were potentially accessed or acquired by an unauthorized actor.

The compromised data may include individuals’ names and other personal identifiers, such as Social Security numbers. While Action Property Management stated it has no evidence of misuse, the company is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Privacy Solutions, which include credit monitoring, dark web monitoring, and identity theft insurance coverage.

Federman & Sherwood’s investigation aims to determine the full impact of this data breach and whether adequate data security measures were in place to protect the personal information of affected individuals.
