June 25, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood, a national consumer protection law firm, is investigating the Jackpocket Casino data breach, a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to sensitive personal information that was reported to the Nebraska Attorney General.

According to the notice, Jackpocket Interactive Gaming LLC d/b/a Jackpocket Casino learned on May 14, 2026, of a security incident affecting a third-party platform provider used by the company. The provider determined that an unauthorized actor exploited a vulnerability in its platform on or about May 13, 2026, potentially allowing access to certain customer account information. Jackpocket Casino reported that its own systems and networks were not affected.

The information potentially exposed includes usernames, names, dates of birth, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, postal codes, and Social Security numbers. The company stated that passwords, password hashes, payment card information, and financial account information were not accessed and that it has found no evidence of unauthorized financial transactions resulting from the incident.

Data breaches involving online gaming platforms can expose sensitive account and identity information that may be used in phishing attacks, identity theft, and account takeover attempts.

Federman & Sherwood is actively investigating whether Jackpocket Interactive Gaming LLC and its third-party service providers implemented reasonable cybersecurity safeguards to protect customer information and whether this incident could have been prevented. The firm is also evaluating potential legal claims on behalf of individuals affected by the Jackpocket Casino data breach.
