Navia Benefit Solutions, Inc. Data Breach – Investigation by Federman & Sherwood
March 20, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving Navia Benefit Solutions, Inc. following a notification filed with the Maine Attorney General.
According to the filing, Navia discovered suspicious activity within its systems on January 23, 2026. An investigation determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and potentially acquired certain information between December 22, 2025 and January 15, 2026.
The information involved may include individuals’ names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses. Approximately 833 Maine residents were impacted by the incident.
Navia began notifying affected individuals in March 2026 and is offering complimentary identity monitoring services through Kroll. The company has also implemented additional safeguards and notified law enforcement.
