North Star Fertility Partners LLC Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
February 23, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving North Star Fertility Partners LLC (“Northstar”), following a notification filed with the Maine Attorney General.
According to the filing, Northstar learned that a security incident occurred at a third-party vendor, Salesloft, which allowed unauthorized access to a database hosted by Salesforce between August 12, 2025 and August 17, 2025. Northstar reported that its internal systems were not accessed. After conducting a review, Northstar determined on January 14, 2026, that the database contained the name and driver’s license number of one Maine resident. Written notice was mailed on February 13, 2026.
Northstar is offering one year of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Kroll.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether appropriate vendor oversight and cybersecurity safeguards were in place and whether affected individuals may have legal claims arising from the incident.
The potentially compromised information may include:

- Medical information
- Health insurance information
- Other sensitive information
