Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (October 1, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces it is investigating a data breach involving Braun Electric Company, Inc. (“Braun Electric”), which recently reported a cybersecurity incident that may have exposed sensitive personal information.
According to a filing with the California Attorney General, Braun Electric discovered unauthorized access to its systems following a network disruption first detected on July 26, 2025. On August 7, 2025, the company confirmed that certain files containing personal data had been accessed or acquired without authorization. By September 5, 2025, Braun Electric began notifying affected individuals.

In response, Braun Electric engaged cybersecurity experts, implemented enhanced security measures, and notified law enforcement. The company is also offering affected individuals complimentary identity protection services through Epiq, which include credit monitoring, dark web monitoring, a $1 million identity theft reimbursement policy, and identity theft recovery services.
