New Horizons Baking Company, LLC, Genesis Baking Company, LLC, Metraco Transportation Company, LLC, and New Horizons Food Solutions, LLC (“New Horizons”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (August 29, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving New Horizons Baking Company, LLC, Genesis Baking Company, LLC, Metraco Transportation Company, LLC, and New Horizons Food Solutions, LLC (“New Horizons”), headquartered in Norwalk, Ohio.
According to a notice filed with the Attorney General of Maine, New Horizons discovered suspicious activity in its systems on January 11, 2025. An investigation determined that between January 6 and January 10, 2025, an unauthorized actor accessed and acquired certain files. On July 11, 2025, New Horizons completed a review confirming that sensitive data was accessed.
On or about August 28, 2025, New Horizons began sending written notices to affected individuals, including at least one Maine resident. Impacted individuals are being offered 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through TransUnion.
In addition, New Horizons has reported the incident to federal law enforcement, is enhancing its cybersecurity safeguards, and has provided affected individuals with detailed steps to protect against identity theft and fraud.
