Boston Interiors Home Furnishings LLC Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (June 6, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data security incident involving Boston Interiors Home Furnishings LLC, headquartered at 301 Page Street, Stoughton, Massachusetts.
According to a data breach notification submitted to the Maine Attorney General, the company detected suspicious activity on its network on or about December 17, 2024, which disrupted access to certain internal systems. A subsequent investigation revealed that unauthorized parties may have accessed or acquired files containing sensitive personal information.
Boston Interiors completed its review on May 19, 2025, confirming that personal data belonging to certain individuals—including names, Social Security numbers, and driver’s license or state identification numbers—may have been compromised. Approximately five (5) residents of Maine were directly affected by the breach.
Notice of the incident was mailed to impacted individuals on or about June 5, 2025, and complimentary 12-month credit monitoring services through TransUnion were offered. Boston Interiors also notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation and has implemented enhanced security measures and employee training to prevent future incidents.
