On March 20, 2026, the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney discovered suspicious activity involving information stored on a file-sharing platform used to exchange discovery-related materials with counsel and parties involved in civil litigation. An investigation determined that an unauthorized actor used a compromised credential to acquire information from the file share between December 28, 2025 and January 22, 2026.
