Ridgeway Pharmacy Ltd. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
September 23, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating the Ridgeway Pharmacy Ltd. data breach following a notification filed with the California Attorney General.
Ridgeway Pharmacy reported that it became aware on August 21, 2026 that personal information may have been involved in an incident affecting its website, which had been designed and developed by a third-party vendor. An unauthorized party accessed the website, prompting Ridgeway to engage cybersecurity and forensic specialists and report the incident to federal law enforcement. Ridgeway stated that its internal systems were not involved.
The potentially affected information included names, addresses, dates of birth, health information, insurance information, payment card information, and prescription information. Ridgeway stated that Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers were not involved.
Ridgeway reported that it remediated the affected website, established a new platform, strengthened monitoring and access restrictions, and reevaluated its third-party arrangements. Affected individuals are being offered 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring, credit report and credit score services, and proactive fraud assistance through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether appropriate safeguards were in place to protect sensitive patient and pharmacy information, including whether third-party security practices contributed to the incident.
