Paylogix, LLC Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
August 18, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood, a national consumer protection law firm, is investigating the Paylogix, LLC data breach following a notice filed with the California Attorney General.
Paylogix, a software-as-a-service provider for insurance providers, experienced a network disruption in November 2025. An investigation determined that the disruption resulted from a cyber incident and that certain files may have been viewed or taken from the Paylogix network between November 13 and November 18, 2025. After reviewing the affected files and determining which customers were associated with the records, Paylogix notified relevant customers on or around July 20, 2026.
Paylogix determined that affected files contained personal information belonging to certain individuals. However, the specific data elements are redacted from the public California notice, so the precise categories of information compromised cannot be reliably determined from the filing. Paylogix states that it is unaware of identity theft or fraud related to the incident.
Paylogix reported the incident to law enforcement and states that it implemented additional technical security measures following the incident. Affected individuals are being offered 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Paylogix, LLC implemented reasonable cybersecurity safeguards to protect sensitive personal information and whether additional security measures could have prevented this incident. The firm is also evaluating potential legal claims on behalf of affected individuals.
