August 10, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood, a national consumer protection law firm, is investigating the Cushman & Wakefield data breach following a cybersecurity incident that may have compromised sensitive personal information.
According to the notice filed with the California Attorney General, Cushman & Wakefield became aware of unauthorized access to its data on April 29, 2026. The company determined that an unauthorized third party was able to access its systems and exfiltrate certain files. A subsequent review identified individuals whose personal information was contained within the affected files.

Cushman & Wakefield states that it has seen no indication that the affected personal information has been misused. As a precaution, the company is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary Experian IdentityWorks, including credit monitoring, identity restoration assistance, and up to $1 million in identity theft insurance.
