Weiser Memorial Hospital (“Weiser”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (May 14, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a law firm specializing in data privacy and cybersecurity litigation, is investigating a recent data breach involving Weiser Memorial Hospital (“Weiser”) located in Weiser, Idaho.
According to public disclosures, Weiser discovered suspicious activity on its computer network on September 4, 2024, and immediately initiated containment and response efforts. The hospital retained third-party cybersecurity professionals to investigate the incident. The investigation determined that certain files from Weiser’s systems may have been accessed and/or acquired by an unauthorized party on or around that same date.
