Legacy Treatment Services, Inc. (“Legacy”) and Community Treatment Solutions (“CTS”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (August 25, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving Legacy Treatment Services, Inc. (“Legacy”) and Community Treatment Solutions (“CTS”).
According to the company’s notice, Legacy experienced a cybersecurity incident that disrupted its network. Following a forensic investigation, Legacy determined on July 18, 2025, that personal data may have been subject to unauthorized access and acquisition between October 6, 2024, and October 11, 2024.
The information potentially impacted includes individuals’ names along with sensitive personal information. While Legacy has stated that it has no evidence of misuse to date, it is offering affected individuals complimentary identity theft protection services through IDX, which includes credit and CyberScan monitoring, a $1,000,000 insurance reimbursement policy, and fully managed identity theft recovery services. Impacted individuals must enroll by November 20, 2025.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating this incident to determine whether Legacy adequately protected the personal information in its care.
