High Point Treatment Center, Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (July 30, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces it is investigating a recent data security incident involving High Point Treatment Center, Inc., a Massachusetts-based healthcare provider.
According to a notice submitted to the Attorney General of Maine, High Point Treatment Center discovered suspicious activity in its network environment on July 6, 2025. A forensic investigation determined that certain files containing sensitive personal information may have been viewed or copied by an unauthorized party. The investigation concluded on July 17, 2025, and formal notifications were sent to affected individuals on July 29, 2025.
The compromised data varies by individual but may include name, Social Security number, and date of birth—information collected in connection with current or prospective employment with High Point.
While the organization states there is no evidence of misuse, out of an abundance of caution, High Point is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring, credit reports, and credit scores, along with proactive fraud assistance through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company specializing in identity theft remediation services.
