VPS of MI, PLLC for Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, OK (November 27, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into VPS of MI, PLLC with respect to their recent data breach. On June 4, 2024, VPS detected irregular activity within its computer network. VPS launched an investigation and determined that its server had been infected with malware, which prevented access to certain files on its server. Through their investigation, VPS determined that an unauthorized actor exfiltrated information from its server. The following information was potentially exfiltrated from its network: individuals name, Social Security number, and/or driver’s license number.
