BMS Holdings, LP (BMS) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (June 27, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a law firm nationally recognized for its work protecting individuals impacted by data breaches, announces it is investigating a data security incident involving BMS Holdings, LP (BMS). According to a notice filed with the California Attorney General’s Office on June 23, 2025, BMS experienced unauthorized access to its network, potentially compromising sensitive personal information.

The breach was discovered on February 24, 2025, when BMS identified suspicious activity in its network environment. A subsequent forensic investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor accessed the network between February 5 and February 24, 2025, and copied certain internal files. BMS completed its review of the affected files on April 28, 2025, and began issuing individual notifications once contact information for affected persons was confirmed.

The impacted information may include names and other sensitive personal data. At this time, BMS states there is no evidence of fraud or misuse of the compromised information. However, out of an abundance of caution, BMS is offering affected individuals 12 to 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through IDX.

BMS has also stated that it has implemented enhanced security protocols and continues to review its data protection policies and procedures.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether BMS maintained adequate safeguards to protect consumer data in accordance with state and federal privacy laws
