Bell Ambulance, Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
March 11, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving Bell Ambulance, Inc. following a notification filed with the Maine Attorney General.
According to the notification, Bell Ambulance became aware of unauthorized activity on its computer network on February 13, 2025 and promptly initiated an investigation with the assistance of third-party forensic specialists. The investigation determined that an unauthorized individual accessed data within the company’s network.
Bell Ambulance conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted portions of its network to determine what information was involved and to identify affected individuals. Initial notification letters were mailed to certain individuals on April 18, 2025, with additional individuals identified and notified on January 15, 2026. The review concluded on February 20, 2026 confirming that certain individuals’ information was affected.
The information potentially involved includes individuals’ names in combination with other sensitive personal information.
Bell Ambulance has implemented security measures in response to the incident and is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services to affected individuals.
