Oklahoma Victims of Predatory Forced-Place Insurance by Lenders

VICTIMS OF PREDATORY FORCE-PLACED INSURANCE PRACTICES ON LOANS INITIATED IN OKLAHOMA URGED TO CONTACT FEDERMAN & SHERWOOD

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 10, 2014) – Federman & Sherwood, a nationwide consumer protection law firm, is urging consumers in Oklahoma who have been victims of force-placed insurance on their homes or vehicles, to contact our law firm as soon as possible. Regulators have been cracking down on lenders who have been involved in questionable practices involving the force-placed insurance market, and borrowers who have been victimized by these practices could seek restitution for unfair practices. Federman & Sherwood has launched investigations into the following lenders:

· Ally Financial;
· U.S. Bank Home Mortgage;
· PHH Mortgage;
· PNC;
· Ocwen Financial Corp.;
· One West Bank;
· National Mortgage;
· MetLife Home Loans; or
· Deutsche Bank.

If you or someone you know has borrowed money from any of these lenders and have had force-placed insurance placed on their home or vehicle because of a lapse in coverage, we are investigating the predatory practices these lenders may have engaged in.

Federman & Sherwood has over 30 years of experience in the consumer industry, representing individuals in consumer fraud actions. If you believe you are a victim of falsely placed or overpriced force-placed insurance by one of these lenders, please contact Lynn Nunn at kln@federmanlaw.com or send us your contact information on our contact page:  http://www.federmanlaw.com/contact-oklahoma-law-firm.
